The health sector in Nigeria has been of great concern over the last decade and attention paid to it has been abysmal, and so it wasn’t too much of a shock to see Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital Doctors come out with placards to mourn this pitiable state while urging Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole (I.F.A.) who is the Minister of Health to begin his good works as promised.

The health sector in Nigeria reached its all time low this year when the budget allocation to the sector was less than 5%; One of the lowest in the world!

In a some what dramatic fashion the Doctors where seen wearing black ward coats as against their usual white coat to signify the total collapse and death of the health sector in Nigeria while also calling out the health minister to action who prior now has been said to be sleeping on duty.
